International Secondary

The secondary curriculum is designed to extend students’ academic ability as well as nurture the social, emotional and physical and development of adolescents. The active programme of study also directs students in developing thinking, reasoning and learning skills which are essential for engaging effectively in 21st century life.

Key Stage 3 comprises Years 7-9 with students writing the Cambridge Secondary 1 Checkpoint Exams at the end of Year 9. Key Stage 4 encompasses Years 10 and 11, preparing students to write the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), an internationally recognised qualification which paves the way for further studies in many countries.
